    Thanks, Judy. We just went through the fig harvest here which is a bit of a scramble because they all come ripe within a few weeks. We have to make tons of fig jam during that period but never thought of drying them in the sun.
    I’ll try to get advice on how to do it when I’m in Cortona.
    I think you saved my sanity. 🙂

    Judy, you said some of these photos were from your own kitchen.
    I’m looking forward to my own kitchen there. Did you return to the living quarters you had on one of your previous trips or are you somewhere new?
