Cortona Participates in Light it Up Blue for Autism Speaks

2 Apr

April 2, 2016:

Cortona joins cities throughout the world in the Light It Up Blue campaign, a campaign designed to shine a spotlight on autism.

In Piazza Republic, the historic town hall is lit in blue as a gesture to support individuals and families living with autism, as a “way to ignite hope.”

Lots of Autism Awareness events here. Marathon events make me wonder what one that circles Cortona to Torreone would be like? (For other people that is 🙂

    Hi Judy,
Remember me? We met in Cortona last year during the bike race and you sent me the picture of the town hall put up for Autism awareness. Mark and I were recently back in Tuscany, but we didn’t go back there this year. Hope you’ve been having a good year.

Hi Jerri, yes I remember we watched part of the race together. It was held last Sunday again. I’m not sure if they lit up the Municipal Bldg this year. If so, we missed it Sat night. All is good in Cortona. Best regards to you and Mark. Judy
