Nice work! We saw the rain, but not the rainbow, looking the wrong way! Did you see/hear the hail!! Owners of unpicked olives have to be getting jumpy!
Just back from 2 nights at Villa Campestri….planted our own olive tree with plasticized greeting which will grow with the tree, had olive oil tasting like never before, learned a lot!! Then we each had an hour olive oil massage! At least one more picking to go in November!!

Sounds like a perfect trip! Funny thing about the rainbow – Len kept telling me to look at the rainbow, but I couldn’t see it until I removed my sunglasses. Glad he rarely wears them or I would have missed it also.

Absolutely stunning! The rainbow picture looks like a painting. So glad you and Len are enjoying this new season in Cortona and we look forward to being there with you next year!

Oooooo sorry we missed that! It must have looked amazing from our lovely little cottage.
Unfortunately we missed the olive picking at our place as well, even though I climbed a tree to audition for it 😉
Maybe next year.

That rainbow shot is spectacular!!! Such a treasure.
We are making plans for celebrating my birthday in
Cortona next fall. Will be in a villa the first week and where we were this year for 3 more weeks. Am already praying for normal Cortona fall weather, at least for our guests the first week.
Do you know when you and Len will be returning?
Barbara
